The Mission Pack consists of the Thrustmaster Viper TQS (Throttle Quadrant System), the direct successor to the widely beloved and acclaimed HOTAS Cougar throttle, and the realistic Thrustmaster Viper Panel.
Together, the Viper TQS and the Viper Panel form the ultimate combination for demanding flight simmers. Both can be easily mounted together to create a realistic system.
Realistic replica of the F-16 Viper Throttle
The Viper TQS is a full-size replica (scale 1:1) of the throttle found in the F-16 Viper, complete with idle and afterburner detents, and a slap switch for deploying chaffs/flares. The resistance of the throttle is adjustable and can therefore be set to your own preference. The throttle itself is equipped with 19 action buttons, 2 virtual buttons, and 5 axes. This does not include the buttons, rotaries, and switches found on the Thrustmaster Viper Panel.
The throttle utilizes Thrustmaster's HallEffect AccuRate Technology (H.E.A.R.T.).
Briefly put, this advanced technology features high-resolution magnetic sensors that detect changes in the magnetic field when there is movement of the throttle axis. This makes the Viper Throttle extremely accurate.
An additional advantage is that Hall Effect sensors do not have any sliding parts (unlike traditional potentiometers), and therefore do not wear out.

To take your flying experience to the next level, the Thrustmaster Viper TQS Pack also includes the Thrustmaster Viper Panel. This panel, with 32 action buttons, 11 virtual buttons, CMDS rotaries, various switches, and a realistic push/pull gear lever with LED indication, is more than just an expansion. It changes the way you fly.
