Description
Control Essential Avionics From One Device
The Octavi IFR-1 gives you direct physical control over the main avionics in your flight simulator. It is designed for quick adjustments to radios, navigation systems, the autopilot, and the transponder. By bringing these functions together in one compact controller, the IFR-1 makes essential adjustments easier, supports a better workflow, and reduces your dependence on the mouse.
Fast and Tactile Adjustments
Eight context buttons let you select COM1/2, NAV1/2, FMS1/2, autopilot, or transponder control. The dual-axis rotary knob combines aircraft-style inner and outer controls, with functions that change by selected mode so that you can make both fine and coarse adjustments to frequencies, headings, courses, barometric pressure, and other values. Clear tactile feedback lets you operate the controller without constantly looking down.
Eleven action buttons provide direct control over autopilot and Garmin-type avionics functions. LED backlighting shows the selected mode and autopilot status, helping you confirm each input at a glance. The silicone keypad gives the buttons a soft, quiet response, making the controller comfortable to use during flights.
Simple Setup and Flexible Profiles
The IFR-1 connects through USB and does not require a separate driver. It is compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024 on Windows, as well as X-Plane 11 and 12 on Windows and macOS. After installing the Octavi plug-in, it handles the controller inputs for standard aircraft, so you can leave the IFR-1 unassigned and uncalibrated inside the simulator. For more complex aircraft or a customized cockpit, MobiFlight lets you assign functions and load compatible profiles.
